It appears that people have grown weary of asking me when the 1Fort comic will come out, and have instead begun to pester my friends about it. This pleases me to no end.
My friend Joe, of Massive Crits, was recently asked when my comic was going to come out, and decided to do something about it. He’s created a contest, wherein people can make their own comic addressing the eternal question, WTF, 1Fort? Full details here, but the gist is, Joe has created some comic panels for you to use (you can rearrange them), and you’ll be creating the dialogue, narration, word bubbles, or what have you. Your comic should offer some speculation or answer about what the hell my problem is with getting this whole comic thing off the ground.
I plan to enter myself. The prize is nothing, though if I win I might buy myself Mass Effect or Age of Conan or something. If someone else wins, and they do a good job, I’ll still buy myself a game but maybe I’ll throw in a little prize for the winner, too.

While the thought of you doing a TF2 comic fills me with joy, I’m happy so long as you keep blogging. My ‘net connection is absolutely shoddy, so I can’t play TF2 (or ANY multiplayer game) at the moment. You provide for me an intravenous shot of Team Fortress goodness…
In other news, I’m playing through Mass Effect at the moment. It’s more cinematic (and shootery) than Bioware’s other famous Sci-Fi RPG, Knights of the Old Republic, but the sidequests aren’t up to the same standard. It also seems a little shorter. Plenty of replay value though for a single player RPG, so I’m pretty happy overall.

Buy Mass effect for the PC, I’ve done so and (since I have a week or two free of any responsibility) have been able to play non-stop between 9 and 3 since Monday.
Also for the love of God pick a female character, I tried a male character yesterday to test the voice acting, I clawed my own ears off. Picking a female character also shows how narcissistic we all are as you quickly fall in love with a character that is, essentially, yourself.

Hey, I just want to take the time to say that reading concerned actually made me go to my nearest best buy and purchase the game. Your hysterical comic opened my eyes to a whole new world of combine and antlions. I thank you for this.
And now, this blog and a promise for a comic has opened my eyes to TF2, which I have been playing for a day and a haff with little sleep.

This is mostly a test before I put it on Massive Crits. Deviantart’s not being very helpful about preview images and the need thereof but I already gave a preview but it says it needs a seperate one but it is a seperate one and I but it GRARGH.
