I’ll never get tired of putting “Valve Ruins” in my headlines. I must be spending too much time reading the Steam forums.
Anyway. There’s an interview up on CVG with the Doug Lombardi on some ideas being kicked around for Valve’s future, including the desire to create a game for the Wii, Portal 2, and, perhaps someday, an MMORPG. Read it here, and then read it again in the exact same place.

HTF are these guys going to do an MMORPG when they can’t even get Steam right?
As for Portal 2 on the Wii, it’s hardly an immense graphical challenge, I imagine it will work very well.

While I concede Steam is better than it was, it’s still got a hell of a long way to go before I will label it ‘respectable’. In fact it will never earn that title as far as I’m concerned because Valve will never earn the title of ‘respectable’.
