… I forgot to mention this yesterday. The fast-speakin’ trash-talkin’ Brit-Down-Under Ben “Croshaw” Yahtzee reviewed Oblivion in his latest installment of Zero Punctuation. Perhaps not the most timely review, as Oblivion came out about 17 years ago, but hey! Who cares? It’s Yahtzee and he’s angry at games, which is what we love about him.
I was also amused to see, in his GTA IV review, him compare the guy from the new GTA game to the Half-Life 2 model I (and many others) used for the HL2 comics — a few people have written to tell me that Nico Bellic (or whatever his name is) bears a passing resemblance to Gordon Frohman. I gotta say, I agree.
Also, Yahtzee gave me a real nice shout-out on his blog a while back, so this gives me a chance to say thanks!

Tags don’t normally have pants, so I fail to see the significance of this particular tag’s lack thereof.

Frohman had a twin brother who was some sort of dry action hero right? I’ve never played GTAIV but I’d say that is a better comparison…Niko isn’t quite incompetent enough for Gordon.

That shout out on Yahtzee’s site brought to this one. Yay for that, now I visit this site every hour or so to check for updates. Nico does look a lot like Gordon.

yeah yahtzees cool, but frohmans cooler. and Niko really aint that bright, what with all the hurling-himself-out-of-helicopters-into-a-building thing, but maybe your onto something about Norman Frohman. Just because im bored and lonely and scared, ill give you my review of the missions in one centance/sentance(i forget).
the missions were so like SA that i kept expecting Big Smoke to leap out from behind a tree(albeit a very large tree) and tell me “choo shud go buy sum threds, CJ”
