Achievement Sandwich

August 13th, 2008 · 45 Comments · TF2 News

There’s been a TF2 update, and it includes some changes (coincidentally or otherwise) suggested by the commenters of this blog. Way to go, commenters of this blog!
Specifically, the health of engie buildings will now be indicated with a gear symbol instead of a health symbol, which will help medics spot their needy patients without […]

So. At Microsoft’s E3 press conference, they (well, GLADoS) announced that Portal: Still Alive, an expanded version of the original game, would be coming exclusively to X-Box Live Arcade in the fall.

However, in this interview with Jesse Henning of GameCyte, Valve’s Erik Johnson says there will be something released in its place.
For the next release, the Heavy, we’re going to have a short piece of linear media that isn’t a “Meet The” piece of media, but we’re going to have something out.
There’s also plenty of […]

Up Next: The Heavy Pack

July 1st, 2008 · 49 Comments · TF2 News

That is, if this shady blog is to be trusted.
I’m happy to hear it; I’ve been playing a lot more heavy lately and am really enjoying it. Only problem is, I stink if I don’t have a medic taking care of me constantly, so it’s good to know that Valve is looking at ways […]

Valve Ruins An Alternate Reality

July 1st, 2008 · 31 Comments · Blather, TF2 News

So, there’s been a lot of recent cries that the pyro, saddled with his new Pack, is overpowered.
I admit feeling this at times, especially after being roasted to a crisp by a backburner faster that you can microwave a poptart. After crumpling, yet again, into a gooey heap of melting flesh, I’ve thought, “This […]
